A Japanese musician and fashion designer, Mana was born in Hiroshima and was introduced to classical music at an early age. He first made music inspired by Motley Crue and was a member of a few bands in the late 80’s and early 90’s like Girl’e and Skyscraper. He is now known for being the leader, chief songwriter, choreographer, guitarist for the band Malice Mizer. He is a trend setter and in fact his clothing line Moi-meme-Moitie has given rise to the Japanese Gothic Lolita fashion movement. Currently Mana is Moi dix Mois outside Japan in March 2005 in Munich, Germany and Paris, France. During which he was interviewed and featured on the cover of European music magazines, such as the German goth magazine Orkus.
