Big Time Rush

Big Times Rush is a group based on a popular NIckelodeon TV series created by Scott Fellows. The four boys, Kendall, Logan, James and Carlos, are in the show are hockey players who are selected to form pop music boy band. After an hour-long pilot episode featurin the audition for the band, the series took off in November, 2009. More than 1500 teens auditioned for the band/show but it was the combined chemistry of Kendall, James, Carlos and Logan that landed them the roles. The show’s creator Scott Fellows has even said that he modeled each character loosely on the personalities of the actors playing them. The band features Kendall Knight, the cool-headed guy in the group. He may like and teasing the other members but Kendall is the most down to earth, Logan Mitchell is the smartest guy in the band, but he’s also the most stressed—maybe because he realizes how much is on the line. James Diamond (James Maslow) always has his eye on the prize. James is a good guy but he cares a little too much about his appearance, Carlos Garcia (Carlos Pena Jr.) may be the oldest guy in Big Time Rush, but he’s also never had a serious girlfriend. Nevertheless, Carlos is a happy go lucky joker with a superstitious streak. Now the group has become more than a television show--they’re touring live as a ‘real’ pop boy band!
